After the split with Stratovarius in 2008, and 2 bands that were major flops in the meanwhile, Timo Tolkki is trying to relaunch his career going solo. Timo Tolkki's Avalon is the name of this Symphonic Power Metal project, where the Finnish guitar player invites other musicians to partcipate in each new album.
Angels Of The Apocalypse is his second album in this format.
