Song Of the Day - CLI - South American Metal Tour: Peru

We finish our journey to Peru with the very promising Folk/Symphonic Power Metal of Yawarhiem.
It has the right ingridients for my taste, with an operatic female voice, classic Power Metal male voice, plenty of keyboards and some Peruvian flutes to give a nice Folk ambiance.
They just need to work more on their compositions and they can be awesome.

This band has something that reminds me of Amon Amarth. It misses some melody, but the speed and the strength of the riffs are there. Quite promising.
They are called Morkill and have released their first full length last year.

Not exactly my cup of tea, but Mortem is one of the oldest and better known Metal bands in Peru. They play Death Metal and exist since 1986.
