Another band that released their debut album in 2005, was the Dutch Symphonic Progressive Metal band, Stream Of Passion.
Embrace The Storm was the title of the album.

Stream Of Passion - A War Of Our Own (SOtD MCXXIV)

The Symphonic Progressive Metal band, Stream Of Passion, got tired of having to answer to record companies, and took the matter in their own hands. The Dutch band created a crowdfunding campaign to support their new record.
A War Of Our Own, their fourth album, is the result of that campaign.
I'm very proud to have been one of the financers of the Stream Of Passion campaign, and the awesome album produced by the band.

Xandria and Stream Of Passion (SOtD CD)

After yesterday night's concert (hope I have time to write a review this week), the Song Of the Day had to be from onde of the bands (Epica, Stream Of Passion and Xandria). Epica did their job very well but they are already very well known, so they were easily out. Now, the other bands simply excelled... I just couldn't decide which one to exclude. So today, and also to celebrate the 400th Song Of the Day, we will have two songs instead of one.

Stream Of Passion is a band formed in 2005, in the wave of female fronted Symphonic Metal bands that swiped The Netherlands in the last decade, following the path of After Forever and Within Temptation. With a Symphonic Progressive approach to Metal, they rely on the beautiful voice of Marcela Bovio, to deliver a sometimes Gothish vocal approach to the Progressive music, that is quite interesting. They have just released their third full length, titled Darker Days.
