Back in 2005 - Kamelot (SOtD MDLVII)

Back in 2005 Kamelot released their seventh album, The Black Halo.
It was the release where they were closest to perfection. An album so tight, but also full of diversity, that it marginally topped Epica, an album that seemed already so unsarpassable.

The Black Halo, released in 2005, continues the concept of Epica around Goethe's Faust and also the success of the previous release. For me Epica is better only because it came first.
Another top notch album from Kamelot with the tremendous voice of Roy Khan.
