Back in 2005 - Sabaton (SOtD MDLXXXIV)

Back in 2005, Sabaton released their debut album, and the Europe surrendered to their sound.
From that album of the Swedish Heavy Power Metal, the most notable was obviously the album title song, Primo Victoria. But other songs were also big highlights, like this one...

Sabaton + Korpiklaani + Tyr @ Hard Club, Oporto (SOtD MCCCLXII)

Yesterday, I had the privilege of seeing this awesome show.
Týr was top notch. I had no idea of how amazing they sound live. Loved the set list. Great stuff!
Korpiklaani was a bit below what I was expecting. The voice started two low on the first songs, and I think they focused two much on the last album. I missed Tequila. Vodka and Rauta, the two last songs, were the highlights.
Sabaton was simply out of this earth! The crowd was wild, and they were so happy and effusive on stage, that there was instant chemistry. Pure magic on top of an almost perfect set list!

After the revolution that left in the band only 2 of the 6 members responsible for the bands previous six full-length albums, in 2012, Sabaton as released their new album.
Heroes is the seventh full-length album from the Swedish Power Metal band.

To me this is one of the most awaited albums of 2012.
Sabaton is one of my favourite bands. They have managed to raise Epic Power Metal to a whole new level.
Carolus Rex is the sixth full length from the Swedes.
