Sabaton + Korpiklaani + Tyr @ Hard Club, Oporto (SOtD MCCCLXII)

Yesterday, I had the privilege of seeing this awesome show.
Týr was top notch. I had no idea of how amazing they sound live. Loved the set list. Great stuff!
Korpiklaani was a bit below what I was expecting. The voice started two low on the first songs, and I think they focused two much on the last album. I missed Tequila. Vodka and Rauta, the two last songs, were the highlights.
Sabaton was simply out of this earth! The crowd was wild, and they were so happy and effusive on stage, that there was instant chemistry. Pure magic on top of an almost perfect set list!

The Faroe Islands is one of those political messes yet to be solved. They are kind of a country, but not quite. That's why it slipped through my European Metal Tour. And because Týr will always be associated to The Faroe Islands, so it also slipped through in the tour.
But today is payback time, using as an excuse the launch of their sixth full length, The Lay Of Thrym. Another set of awesome Folk Metal hymns from the icy islands, in the unique voice of Heri Joensen.
