Back in 1995 - Ayreon (SOtD MDCXIV)

Back in 1995, the album Ayreon - The Final Experiment, was released.
It was a Metal Opera written by the Dutch gentle giant, Arjen Anthony Lucassen.
Ayreon ended up becoming the band name for Lucassen's solo project, and The Final Experiment as it's debut album.
